First off, I have bought my dress online. Different labels use different sizes. IF you are going to buy a dress online, have them send you measurements of the dress, NOT the dress size. We are not all created equally and neither is different manufactures for dresses.
If you do buy a dress online, buy it a little larger than you wear if you can. You can always have it altered smaller, but difficult to go bigger. And right before the big day it's difficult to diet while dealing with the details of the Wedding and the Wedding guests.

Plus size women can look sytlish at the event, make sure your dress isn't too tight, if it is a strapless dress it's always great if they have the built in bra. Somehow the strapless bras for big busted women don't work well. But the ones that are built into the dresses seem to give the support that we need as well as looking flawless inside the dress.

The main thing that you want to do at your child's wedding is be comfortable and have a good time.
