Podcasting Terms

Here are a few terms you may encounter in the world of podcasting:

Podfade - When someone is unable to continue producing podcast episodes, that podcaster experiences podfade. It is similar to blogger burnout.

Podsurrection - This happens when a podcaster experiences podfading but does not delete the website offering the podcast. After a few weeks or months, the podcaster decides to give it another go. There is a high chance of podcast resurrection if the site is hosted by the podcaster.
