Poem Two Sides Within

True Victory

What I have learned from Abdu'l-Baha is that true victory is subduing our own heart to respond with love and then by this we subdue the hearts of others, it has never been in opposition or conflict with another person. May we all work together as one family in unity, to live in peace within the self and the world will become more at ease as we grow into our real existence.

Two Sides Within

The real battle is within
For one must begin
To live,
The focus must be to conquer
Our lower self.
All victories are within
So lets work at developing
Our higher self
With the spirit of faith
This is our fate.
Within our hands is destiny
So lets work with God's blessing
Winning the condition of heaven
Within our selves
Ringing the right bells.
I fell in love with His Spirit
Though the thing I fear
Is going beyond the bounds
Of what He has laid down
For us all to follow
With the infinite blessing
Because God is unlimited
And we all live within it.
