PoemofQuotes

PoemofQuotes is home to hundreds, if not thousands, of poems. As I stated in the introduction, the site started as a way to share my words with others; however, with some determination and support, I was able to expand the site to include many great poets.

Poets such as Edgar Allan Poe, E. E. Cummings, and the great John Keats have their own special place. When I was younger, these poets helped me express myself in ways that I never could have imagined. There words captivated me and then shot me out of a cannon. Because of this, I wished to pass along their greatest works, and tell a little about their life.

To me, quotes have always been a great way to remember movies, moments in history, and a person's accomplishments--when the quote is just right. The best quotes also express my feelings in ways I couldn't dream of.

Even the great philosophers have their own place. Plato, for example, has many amazing quotes, like this one:

"We agree that what is holy is loved by the Gods because it is holy, and not holy because it is loved by the gods."

This section was created because I wanted others to have a place to share their own works. Sure, there are many other places around the web, but I thought I could do better. Is it? Well, You'll just have to check it out.
