Anyway, on this site, I will present blogs, videos and books and interesting sites (all to do with poetry).

Contributions from you are most welcome yes, BUT no depressing stuff please!

I read somewhere that the google bots (and other search engines) hate poetry sites because the automatic indexers get confused by the poems. But you know what? I don't care about that. This site is not here to please:

A CUTE POEM FOR A CUTE GIRL

You changed my world with a blink of an eye
That is something that I can not deny
You put my soul from worst to best
That is why I treasure you my dearest Marites

You just don't know what you have done for me
You even pushed me to the best that I can be
You really are an angel sent from above
To take care of me and shower with love

When I'm with you I will not cry even a single a tear
And your touch have chased away all of my fear
You have given me a life that I could live worthwhile
It is even better everytime you smile

It so magical those things you've made
To bring back my faith that almost fade
Now my life is a dream come true
It all began when I was loved by you

Now I have found what I am looking for
It's you and your love and nothing more
Co'z you have given me this feeling of contentment
In my life something I've never felt

I wish I could talk 'til the end of day
But now I'm running out of things to say

A Teenage Girl's First Crush

A teenage girl's first crush is . . . well, crushing.
Her body isn't hers, nor is her mind.
She finds herself shivering, shaking, blushing,
Weak, tormented, sick, and going blind.
And why? Because some guy might look her way,
Then cast his eyes as quickly to the ground;
Some special one, for reasons she can't say,
Whose voice makes her feel faint when he's around.
But now my crush on you has been returned,
And so the two of us stand on some brink:
It can't be love so young, and yet we've learned
Love does its will, no matter what we think.
Slowly, slowly now--we mustn't rush:
Let's enjoy this first sweet teenage crush.

Frightened girl, they don't know her name
Saddened girl, who cries at night
Distant girl, who's out of sight
Psycho girl, with scars on her wrists
Fairytale girl, who don't exist
Silent girl, without a name
Ignored girl, who's filled with shame
Faking girl, with plastic smiles
Freakish girl, from a thousand miles
Emotionless girl, cant feel much pain
Darkened girl, who brings the rain
Crying girl, tears start to flood
Psychotic girl, who drains her blood
Hated girl, who no one loves
Such a weak girl, who's no longer though
Angry girl, there is no cure
Happy girl, she is no more
Hidden girl, she covers her scars
Prisoned girl, lived behind her life's bars
Crazy girl, who bleeds so much
Lonely girl, who's out of touch
Stupid girl, who no one likes
Beaten girl, who always fights
Pretty girl, don't give up now
Suicide girl, there's someway, somehow
Scared girl, don't be afraid
Distant girl, don't go away
Morbid girl, don't die tonight
Worried girl, it'll be alright
Stoner girl, tonight she'll smoke her sorrow
Alcoholic girl, she'll drink tomorrow
Furious girl, who has no more faith
Depressed girl, who cries and aches
Fallen girl, with broken wings
Disturbed girl, fell off the swing
Pretty girl, you are my friend
Aching girl, just try to mend
Ugly girl, not like before

We were sitting on your rooftop
Staring at the skies
The sun was dipping lower
I looked into your eyes
You saw what I was feeling
I know you felt it too
We wanted time to just stand still
Then forever there'd be me and you
Why can't we freeze this moment?
Return to it in time
Stay together through the years
Proclaim I'm yours and you are mine
So let us freeze this moment
Store it safely away
Even if we leave this place
We'll return to it someday

SIR - Search Ingine Ranking

I look for the word, fish, but only I find wish.
Hence, I look elsewhere and find myself on a fence.

Eyre, if only we could have this on the "net",
then me and my friendly spiders, worms and bots,
would never have to fret.

How can I make sense of words that are misused,
distorted, or inverted?
How can I find what is there, but not there for me to understand?

So to add a cliché, "I am blind as a bat and dead as a doornail",
when trying to make sense of some of the human idioms.

My negative and positive poles get confused; my attractions distractions;
my polarities get reversed and I end up going in circles. For what?

I am an elephant with the legs of a kitten; the mind of a slug;
try to make sense of the human thought.

Can I understand barbwire intestines; lead pipe bowels;
diamond mind; sonic feet; lightening hands; solar hearing;
neutron sight, no, it means nothing to me.

So, feebly, I fumble and bumble around trying to arrange the letters, words,
to make some logical sense out of this illogical mess,
Thus, I give to you: A quietus statement; a quagmire; a quadrature circle!
