Pokemon Diamond and Pearl: A History
Pokemon was originally created for Nintendo's Game Boy. It is a game where unique creatures are trained by a Pokémon trainer to battle each other when commanded.
The original Pokémon game was six years in development. When it was unveiled it became wildly popular in Japan, and later in the US and around the world. A TV show was developed based on the Pokémon Characters, and a wildly popular card game.
Pokémon Diamond and Pearl are the first versions of the Pokémon games to be created specifically for the Nintendo DS.

Pokemon Diamond and Pearl Rock
and are both the fourth installments of the Pokémon series of role-playing games, succeeding Pokémon Ruby, Sapphire, and Emerald. They were developed by Game Freak and published by Nintendo for the Nintendo DS, and first released in Japan in 2006.
