Pokemon Characters - And Why We Love Them!

Note: This lens is built by the son of Tiffany Dow.

Pokemon's been around a long time now.  But it's evolving, just like the Pokemon characters themselves!  We no longer have Misty around, but girl-chasing Brock is still Ash's sidekick.

I like the world of Pokemon because they're more exciting than animals.  You can catch them and battle them against other people.

If you were in school in the world of Pokemon, you could have battles at recess. I wasn't around when Pokemon first came out, but my mom, dad, and brother all loved to play the game and collect the cards.

Now I like to follow Pokemon, so this lens is all about the main characters and why they're important to the storyline.

Ash Ketchum

Ash is the main character of the whole show. we watch as Ash tries to become a Pokemon master. He's been doing this for 10 years, so he should already be one, but he isn't, because then the show would end.

Professor Oak (see below) gave Ash his very first Pokemon, and electric Pokemon called Pikachu. Then he sets off on his adventure and meets friends along the way - Brock and Misty.

Pokemon season 1

He
captures
different Pokemon and trains them so they'll evolve and then he battles other trainers to get better.

Right now, Ash is in the Diamond and Pearle series of the show, where new Pokemon have been discovered, like Chimchar (fire), Turtwig (grass), and Piplup (water).

Ash left home to go on this adventure. He visits home now and again to see his mom and Professor Oak. He's a kid who believes in using his Pokemon to help people out of trouble.

Pikachu

Pikachu is the first Pokemon Ash ever had that he got from Professor Oak. He's an electric Pokemon and his evolved forms is Raichu. His previous form (before he becomes Pikachu) is Pichu.

He's a mouselike Pokemon with short, yellow fur and a tail that looks like a lightening bolt. He has red cheeks.

Pikachu eats berries. When he wants to create an electrical current, but can't, he gets sick - like he has the flu! He loves living near power plants or wherever thunderstorms occur frequently.

Who's Your Favorite Pokemon?

My favorite Pokemon is a Ditto because it can turn into any Pokemon, so it's really like having all of the Pokemon built into one!

Yeah, it's writertiff's son. Good sites for pokemon cards, t-shits, jackets, toys, whatever are google.com, bing.com (maybe it's bink.com), and e-bay.com. :)

I used to play the Pokemon card game when I was in college. It was so much fun, I want to play again. The cards are so expensive though and now I have to pay rent. Maybe if I just Squidoo a little more I can afford some. :)
