The Top 10 Poker Sites

This lens is here to provide you with a comprehensive review of the top 10 poker rooms on the internet. My reviews are entirely my opinion and are not stolen from another site, so if you have any discrepencies then please leave a comment! Check out Poker Is Rigged for more information.

PokerStars

#1 PokerStars

By far the LARGEST poker room on the internet. The cash game players here are generally better than at 99% of players on other sites and therefore beginners should KEEP CLEAR! What this site has to offer the most is tournaments, tournaments, TOURNAMENTS! With $1,000,000s of prizes guaranteed each week. The software is top of the range with resizable tables which helps for multitabling and helps for general ease of use.

If you're looking to play tournaments rather than cash games then there is no doubt you should be playing here. The site caters for all stakes having regular tournaments ranging from $3 to $215 with a whole aray of SNGs in between. Every sunday there is a $10+1 tournament with $100,000 guaranteed and sees 20,000 entrants. This is the largest tournament ever seen on the internet and a prize pool of $200,000 for a $10 buy in is simply gigantic.

Party Poker

#2 Party Poker

Party Poker is the worlds most known online poker room. The website, however, is not the worlds most popular. Party Poker attracts a lot of new players as it is the first poker room they hear of. The new players are the main attraction for the rest of the online poker community. The level of play at Party Poker is very low and therefore money can be made easily there. The site has a wide range of tournaments but the guaranteed prize money is minute compared to that of PokerStars. The tournament and cash game play is very soft; so if you are a good player then you might earn some good money here.

The software at Party Poker has improved recently and you are able to adjust table sizes to suit your computer's resolution and for multitabling. Although clunky and sometimes cumbersome to use, the software is generally good and well worth playing on.

Poker Resources

Hard back style!
