The Polaroid PoGo: Maybe Taking Pictures Can Be Fast and Fun Again
Not so long ago Polaroid stopped producing their instant film and the cameras that use it. Those little one step cameras weren't top of the line as far as image quality but if you were looking for fast and fun they were the thing to have.
It seemed that the days of snapping a quick shot and having it print out before your very eyes were gone. But wait, maybe not.
The Poloraoid PoGo Instant Mobile Printer came on the scene in 2007/2008 and now the Polaroid PoGo instant digital camera is ready to hit the market. These are the digital equivalent of the old Polaroid instant film and cameras but they go a step further by allowing you to get these same instant results with other mobile devices as well. Learn more about them here and see how much fun taking pictures can be.

PoGo: The Instant Polaroid Camera
It can produce a 2x3" borderless print within 60 seconds without using ink or toner. This instant camera applies heat to specially treated paper to make the images. After snapping a shot, you merely view your image to determine whether or not it needs editing and then print it with the press of a button. The special print paper is expected to sell for $5 per 10 piece pack or $13 for a 30 piece pack while the camera itself should retail at about $200.
The Polaroid PoGo will come with a USB cable and be compatible with both PC and Mac systems. Look for it on the market by March or April of 2009.
