My Dad Taught Me How To Draw

My father taught me to draw when I was five, while I lay in a hospital bed recovering from a concussion suffered in a fall from a yard swing.

Naturally, he taught me simple cartoon animals first and, of course, Mickey Mouse, Warner Brothers, Popeye and other cartoons on TV were a staple of my childhood, so it seems only natural that cartooning is something that has remained one of my artistic avocations.
