As you can see from these pictures almost 25 years apart. Polka dots just keep coming back and you know it is going to be big, as every one watches the new Princess.
I also love the fact that on her recent engagement to Canada whilst handing out flags to new citizens after a citizenship ceremony. She wore this dress. Showing that it is cool to re-wear your clothes, and make the most of your wardrobe.

I really do wonder what it is about this very simple, pattern that has made it last throughout the years?. Is it the simplicity of the design. It is much easier to wear than bright loud patterns. Does it still hold the image of a classy lady, someone who takes care of their family, organised, in control of their lives, and just a little bit sey too. Like the images protray here. Or is it just so simple, and classic. It is a very indentifiable fasion from the 50's and still makes it way back time and time again to the more recent fashion catwalks. And Polk Dots have established themselves as a timeless fashion trend.

- Polka dots aren't quite for me but I do enjoy them on others and your's are very stylishe and lovely. I particularly like Kate Middleton's look and of course Princess Diana looks just peachy!
