I hope everyone in the world will take a few minutes of their day to think seriously about this subject:
--Missing children
--Keeping kids safe.
--The Child Safety Kit.
This is not, nor has it ever, been a pleasant topic. A lot of people do not want to even think about this, unless, God forbid, their child or a child they love disappears. I know this because I felt the same way. Because of being forced to stay at home most of the time
and, I admit, feeling sorry for myself at times, I started doing a lot of reading. I didn't realize the enormity of this situation. Children have been disappearing all over the world for years and the families are left with no or few answers. There are so many little things that people like us can do. Things that really don't take a lot of time, effort, or money. Sign up for local Amber alerts, volunteer to put out posters, have yard sales and donate the money etc...Any way you can help, please do! One of the Best Ways You Can Help Keep Children Safe
Talk!
Talk to your children each and every day about safety. Always know where your children are! Be aware of their surroundings and their friends. Let them know why you are doing this. Explain that some times strangers that want to harm them are sometimes not strangers at all but can be anyone.

- It seems as if I keep getting more posters every week of missing children One of the ways that you can help is to log onto the Polly Klaas website and volunteer to print and distribute posters that are sent to you via email. It really doesn't take much time and you are helping to get the information out to people that otherwise might not see it otherwise.
