Polly Klaas

Polly Klaas was a young girl who lived in Petaluma California. It was 1993 and Polly was only 12 years old. She was having a slumber party at her house when a Sexual Predator entered her house through an unlocked sliding glass door armed with a knife. The subject tied up all the girls and took Polly with him at knife point. Few people know that Polly persuaded the abductor to take her. She was protecting the other children who were there visiting her. Polly was thinking of the other girls safety and she went with him to protect them. He was parked less than a mile away from Polly's house.
The girls got loose and notified Polly's Mother and the Police. Unfortunately the Police Officers who responded didn't want to put the kidnapping out over the Police Radio. They were afraid it would make this a media circus and I believe that they couldn't believe something like this happened here.
The Sexual Predator was stuck in the mud and couldn't get his car out. Polly was locked in the trunk of the car. Two Sheriffs Deputy's saw the man stuck in the mud and were not aware of the kidnapping, which had occurred. They helped push him out of the mud and the Sexual Predator was able to escape with Polly. He later murdered Polly.
I saw Marc Klaas in Tampa Florida. He came to tell this tragic story of his daughter Polly and to tell Police Officers to take their job seriously. He stated that he could have had Polly back alive if everyone had done their job. He stated, he knew that the Police Officers involved didn't do this on purpose but he also knew that this mistake cost Polly her life. He stated that he knew Police Officers were human and humans make mistakes.
Marc stated that part of his therapy is to spread the news to Law Enforcement to take their Jobs serious and please don't take short cuts. Take your job serious and follow the basic Police Procedures. Marc's point is very well taken and He was able to express himself very well. Nothing we do will bring Polly back but we can educate people to take their jobs serious and help others in similar situations.

It is not the will of God for anything bad to happen to a child. When it does Jesus reaches out and pulls that child into God's Kingdom, no questions asked. The Kingdom of God is made for children. Every Child is a Prince or a Princess in God's Kingdom.

God's Kingdom is not of this world. It is a world to come, Thy Kingdom come. God will wipe away every tear from this world.

The Parents and Friends of Polly Klaas can not bring Polly back, but if they live a righteous life through Jesus Christ, they can go and live with Polly, one day soon.

Every Person will be judged according to their unselfish deeds here on earth. Anyone can be born again and start over, but ye must be born again in spirit and truth. Believe in the Gospel of Jesus Christ. Repent and turn away from sin and evil.

I heard am man speak in Tampa Florida several
years ago. He was speaking to Federal and local
Police Officers, Judges, State Attorneys and Probation
Officers. His message was to take your job serious.
He didn't want what occurred to him and his daughter
to occur to other people.
His name was Mark Klauss and his daughter was
Polly Klauss. Polly was abducted, molested and
Murdered by a Sexual Predator in California in 1994.
There were several things that could have occurred
that would have brought Polly home safe. His message
was Strong and from his Heart.
The Last thing he said was, no matter what
happens to your child. No matter how disappointed you
may become. No matter How frustrated you may become.
I don't care if it is drugs, prostitution or your
worst nightmare. I want you to know that I would
trade everything I have to go through what you are
going through. Remember this when you leave today, I
would have given up everything to have my daughter
back and I feel cheated that I didn't get to go
through your heartaches. Thank you
