Neat lens! In Glensheen Mansion in Duluth, MN you can tour the house, and in the bedroom of the former owners (which has been preserved), their bedroom was decorated with lots of pomegranates (I believe for fertility, which they certainly had no trouble with, LOL, and prosperity)! Fun fact!

I knew about pomegranate symbolism in Christianity and in medieval art when it's used as a symbol of fertility and sometimes (if I remember correctly) to represent the world. I never knew about it's connection to Judaism and Greek mythology & found that fascinating. Great lens!

I like the way you put your pictures same length as the text. I didn't know that pomegranate is such a sysmbol.

I know what pomegranates mean in my spirituality, but it was very moving to see how it translates over so many others. Pomegranates are just beautiful, in the hand and in the heart. Thanks for the information.
