Turtle, Bass and Mysterious Blob Caption Contest

There's a new module in town and it's perfect for people like us who love to take pictures. The Caption Contest Module allows users to enter all sorts of funny and clever captions for variety of pictures.

So if you like to write funny one-liners or even mini-stories about photos from nature, then you'll really like this lens. Come see who can write the best caption about this poor little turtle and also the mysterious blob that appeared in our pond. If you don't have time to write, then vote for the one that you think is the best.

Life in a pond can be challenging, especially for a little turtle.

Life in & around the pond is never boring.

Each day, after our morning walk, we stop at our 1/4 acre pond so that Al can feed the fish and other creatures. I usually have my camera handy as I walk around inspecting the plantings and blooms. Sometimes we get some good action shots with our Canon S5IS and sometimes we take pictures of things that are just strange looking.

Here are some shots that we took. See if you can add captions to them.

The Blob Returns?

This interesting mass of jelly, reminiscent of the blob, appeared in the pond one morning. What do you think it looks like?

It could be a miniature underwater city of tiny amphibian aliens.
