From the lens Giant Squid Challenge December 2009: Pop Culture.

In the past we had team challenges, but this time we are going for a less softball team competitive vibe, and a more self fulfilling bliss one. We are one. One community of people learning, working, pursuing, persisting, eating cupcakes, and making wicked sweet pop culture lenses.

    Because this challenge made so many of us think outside of our comfort zone, I am returning tonight to add my Blessings and to also add it to my Squid Angel Mouse Tracks lens.

    Thanks for this contest. When it first started, I thought that I didn't write pop culture lenses, but it look like I do! We are so engrossed into snowsports that they also feel like pop culture to us. Let me know if they didn't belong here.

    Thank you for organizing this contest and everything you're doing for us giant hopefuls! I'm really loving the warm, generous atmosphere here on Squidoo and as you can see I've been entering some of my lenses in this pop culture contest (often forgetting to write my lensmaster name before the lens description *doh*, so sorry about that). Kudos & warm wishes.

    Cool. I love this pop culture challenge. I just rolled over from the September 30th deadline and was going to ask if I could be part of your team but see that it's restructured a bit this go around. Look forward to adding lenses to your pop culture challenge in pursuit of Squid 100.
