How does white pimples with pus develop?
When oil (aka sebum) and dead skin cells become trapped within the hair follicle, pimples are developed. The sebum and dead skin cells create a plug within the pore. The follicle wall may rupture within the dermis due to excessive build up of trapped oil under the skin. This condition creates inflammation and redness. The serverity of blemishes vary depending on the damage to the follicle wall. Not every pimple sufferer suffers from inflamed breakouts. Most people with pimples have a number of non-inflamed lesions, or comedones.
Pimples is a result of many factors coming together. Those who are prone to acne often have skin that is oilier than average.
Acneic skin produces more dead skin cells than is normal skin. When the dead skin cells are not being shed properly, the dead cells stick to the surface of the skin and inside the follicles. when this is mixed with excess oil, breakouts are produced.
