An engagement is a rather significant event in the lives of two people, who are in love. Let me take the liberty to argue with famous writer Oscar Wilde, who assumed that love is full of romance, while engagement has no romance at all, because it ends with wedding in most cases. I think that it is not actually so. To my mind people are creators of their own happiness and their life scenarios. There is no doubt that some of enamored do loose tender and romantic feelings after the wedding, but it is not the way it should really be. Perhaps, you will consider me to be naive or foozle, but my strong belief is that your personal happiness in a family life depends only on the way you arrange your everyday home life and on the way you reveal your feelings to your spouse.

An engagement is a first and probably the most relevant step on the way of your future togetherness. This event is usually associated with new and bright expectations, especially if a couple treats their relations with full seriousness and hopes that their marriage will be strong and will last for many years.
