I love Italian cooking but am not very good with the spices and herbs. I try but it usually comes out rather bland. But, I plan to learn it.

I Thyme is one of my favorite herbs. I've found to be really useful in cooking and so easy to grow. Lovely looking lens.

I am so hungry for Italian food now!! Wonderful lens! I love Cilantro in various homemade salsas too! Last year, I planted cilantro in my garden - twice - and my dog pulled it up both times. Are there any tricks to growing cilantro inside?

Yes, yes, yes! Hubby and I both love Italian. Basil is absolutely my favorite herb....it makes for great Pesto.

I've had pretty good luck growing my own herbs on my back deck. Cilantro and basil seem to really flourish, at least from April to November. Great work!

We cook Italian at least once a week - our garden is small, but we give LOTs of space to basil, parsley and garlic so I can make huge batches of Basil Pesto every summer to freeze and enjoy all winter long.

I cook Italian food more than any other variety after having lived and worked in Italy for a while and I love to use fresh herbs. Shame they are so expensive. I really must start growing my own.

Great lens with lots of information on Italian herbs. I just do not like the taste of Basil and it is hard to find Italian food without it.

What an informative lens about herbs for Italian cooking! I didn't realise basil lost its flavour when its dried - you live and learn. Blessed by an Angel.
