Pork Chop Casserole is a perfect way to use up those leftover pork chops!

Ingredient list for this Pork Chop Casserole Recipe

4 Pork chops, thick cut
2 tbsp BBQ sauce
2 tbsp Butter or margarine
10 1/2 oz Condensed cream of celery soup
1 minced Onion, finely chopped
1 tsp Salt
1/4 tsp Pepper
1 1/2 tsp dried parsley flakes
1 8 oz shredded Cheddar Cheese

Pork Chop Casserole Recipe

Quick and easy to follow directions!

Directions for making Pork Chop Casserole

Preheat oven to 375 degrees
Brush pork chops with BBQ sauce
Brown in the 2 tablespoons butter in a large skillet
In a small bowl combine celery soup, onion, salt, pepper and parsley flakes.
Pour half the celery soup mixture in a 3-quart, casserole baking dish.
Place pork chops on top and pour remaining sauce over pork chops
Add Cheddar Cheese to top
Bake, uncovered, in Oven 35 minutes.
Pork should always be cooked to well-done. Serve with noodles or mashed potatoes.

Wright is billed as `The Ultimate Casserole Cookbook', which is a figurative sticking out of the chin, daring one to poke holes in the author's pretensions for claiming to write an `ultimate' treatment of any subject. My skepticism is muted a bit when I see a very complementary blurb on the back cover from James Villas, the author of another recent casserole treatise, `Crazy for Casseroles'.
