Even though we virtually never clean the thing, it simply does the best job flavor-wise of all our grills. If you crank it up to high for 10 minutes, then grill with the top closed (never open) you get very consistent heat which is the secret to good grilling.

This grill with the stand is a great bbq for the camper! I have tried 3 or 4 others that were a pain in the neck to try and break down and store. I love this grill! The stand folds down easily and the grill I can set right into a
tupperware and slide it right into the camper storage area containing any mess and grease that made storing the others so difficult!

For those of you wondering if this grill gets hot enough to cook steaks... well it definite does. I had looked into the more expensive unit like the Solaire Anywhere grill because of its infrared feature, but after reading about how it tends to burn and undercook everything, I opted for this Q-100. It surprisingly gets hot enough to seared 1.25" rib-eye steaks due to the heat conductive iron-cast grate.
