Portable Solar power is a viable alternative.

I have always been interested in solar power especially Portable solar power. I am going to list the best resources I have found. The good news is the prices are going down.

There is nothing better then going deep into the woods cooking a nice lunch, and listening to some great music while watching the animals and scenery.

This is also a romantic way to suprise a special person in your life. Ok call me old fashion, but free Portable solar power good food, some wine and a sunset with some good solar powered tunes really works for me.

If that is not your thing how about charging power tools for free using a small solar panel, we do it daily.; Portable solar power is great for remote locations and job sites and it saves you money which is always a good thing.

I will be doing reviews of portable solar chargers as I purchase them.

Why I am going to use portable solar power

This is a no brainer, heck I live in NY and even we can use Solar power. Thankfully prices are coming way down. Flexible solar panels are also becoming much more cost effective.
  • The sun is free.
  • Solar panel cost is coming down
  • Battery efficency has increased dramatically
  • Solar power is fun and great to teach the kids about. When a person can feel the heat it is easier to explain the reaction happening in the cells.
  • You haven't lived till you cooked a meal with solar power. It is also a blast to build a small solar oven and use in the field.
