As I have built poshorganic.com, I have learned more and more about things I can change to become just a little more eco-friendly. Though sometimes money does not permit me to be as eco-friendly as I would like (such as buying a hybrid, but any new car in the near future seems like an impossible dream). But I have made the change to organic veggies and buying from local farms when items are in season. I am also a recycle maniac, I buy recycled items when possible, and every lightbulb in the house are those little swirly bulbs you see everywhere now. Did I do all this overnight? No, of course not! And I am no where done with where I want to be with becoming an eco-friendly home. But I find if I take it day by day, most weeks I am making improvements to my goal. I love learning, and I have found becoming eco-friendly is all about learning and getting facts straight! I hope in my future writings and musings, I can help others learn and perhaps even motivate to become just a little more eco-friendly to last a lifetime!
