Daily Affirmations for More Achievements, Happiness and Delight!
One of the most successful strategies for a fun-packed & 'successful' (that's relationships, self, financial ... whatever) life I have come across - is the use of daily affirmations.
Daily, weekly, monthly, yearly ... I set goals and affirm them. I give them value and strength. By announcing them in the morning during the day, and at night, I re-enforce my determination and joy at achieiving what it is I plan to achieve.
On this lens, I hope to share some of these affirmation strategies ...
Positive Daily Affirmation Guides
Affirm Your Choices:
The Power of Affirmations to Design and Guide your Life Choices
That seems to be one of the eternal problems
Finding a goal, dividing the journey to achieve the goal in manageable steps, that always seems easy, easy compared to the actual doing of it, the follow through.
You know that seeing your goal, picturing your dream, is straight forward.
After all, you know the situation you want to leave behind, you're in it now!
So if you open your eyes, ears and heart to what's around you right now, picture your life with what you want changed, improved, gone, added, now.
Well, that's your goal, simple really.
So after you've identified the start of your journey, the now, and you've seen the proposed stop-over on your journey, you plan the journey, plan the stop-overs on the way, dividing the large dream in to smaller bite size, manageable chunks.
Then, well, there's the problem for many of us.
It's sticking to your plan. Sticking to making those stop-overs on your journey.
Achieving the small steps so that the b i g pace can be achieved, sticking to your plan.
Thinking about your goal, you're excited, seeing it achieved, see yourself there.
The first few days, weeks, you carry the excitement with you, but, but if you can't keep the momentum going for more than 3 to 4 weeks, you find things gradually sliding a w a y .
You need to remind yourself, reinforce the feeling you get when you see, hear, feel yourself getting there, achieving your goal.
Imagine yourself in a wrap-around cinema, with full quality surround sound, moving seat, with all the smells, the movement, the warmth, the cool, all the elements that make up YOUR goal picture,
And you need to do it every day, every morning and every evening, build on build on build on all your sensations, strengths and convictions, you need,
You need to make affirmations, tell yourself, remind yourself, order yourself, that you ARE going to get 'there', your 'there' and use your feelings of achievement you get when you see, hear, feel the then, the there, and make it NOW. Use the nowness of the feelings (you are feeling these now after all), and connect, and join, and fix them to your affirmations, feelings and words fused, intertwined, so that you cannot help but to feel the feelings when you read the words.
The words. So now you write your affirmation, your promise to yourself, that you will, you ARE going to follow ALL the steps necessary for you to feel those feelings on the date you promise yourself.
You get several pieces of paper, your favourite pen or pencil.
You see, hear, feel, again and again and again and write.
Write down with passion your feelings, what you feel when you see yourself 'there', Be free, don't think, just write, write what you feel when you see yourself in 'there'.
I write "happiness, contentment, family, bliss, warmth, relaxed, secure "
Carry on, on with the feelings of being 'there'.
I write "I feel happy, content and blissed knowing that my family and I are happy, excited, relaxed, in an environment of warmth, trust and security, able to share the same with each other and others"
Be specific, go into your feelings picture, picture it, now see the details, be specific.
I write "I am healthy, eat well and exercise regularly"
"I enjoy time with my family every day, enjoying the morning and evening time we spend together"
"I enjoy the time I have to read and learn each day"
"I enjoy and relish the time I invest in my business, helping others"
"I love life and the choices I make of it"
"I earn XXX,XXX a year"
my over-all picture.
Now remembering the steps along the way, the stop-overs on the journey, you grab those feelings of each step, starting now with first steps, become more specific still, deeper into your picture meaning now, remember to stay positive, focused.
I write "As I start each day, I see the vast potential of the choices I have at hand"
"I meditate every morning for 10 minutes"
"I exercise every afternoon for 15 minutes"
"I enjoy an hour of play with Samuel every day"
"I enjoy listening and talking with Kathy every evening with our favourite music playing"
"I look forward to reading and learning for an hour every evening"
"Every day I find a way to add value to what my customers receive"
"By the end of this month I will have added another 10% to my regular income"
(Samuel is young son, Kathy my partner.)
This list of affirmations, promises to myself, change, grow, develop as the months build. At each month start, the list is reviewed, added to, built on, to the next start-overs that need to be gained and enjoyed.
Enjoy the journey as much as the goal. Remember to reward and find happiness and pleasure in all start-overs, for the satisfaction of achievement it does bring you.
You will find satisfaction in getting to each step, each start-over, building self-confidence, building a stronger and wider vision, stronger senses of the feelings you have when you picture your goal.
Now find the nicest piece of paper you have in the house, or go out and buy some.
Get your favourite pen and pencil, and re-write what you have written, in your best hand, with your picture in mind, minding to be specific, positive, writing in the now, and for the best.
I re-write:
I feel happy, content and blissed knowing that my family and I are happy, excited, relaxed, in an environment of warmth, trust and security, able to share the same with each other and others.
I am healthy, eat well and exercise regularly
I enjoy time with my family every day, enjoying the morning and evening time we spend together
I enjoy the time I have to read and learn each day
I enjoy and relish the time I invest in my business, helping others
I love life and the choices I make of it
I earn XXX,XXX a year
As I start each day, I see the vast potential of the choices I have at hand
I meditate every morning for 10 minutes
I exercise every afternoon for 15 minutes
I enjoy an hour of play with Samuel every day
I enjoy listening and talking with Kathy every evening with our favourite music playing
I look forward to reading and learning for an hour every evening
Every day I find a way to add value to what my customers receive
By the end of this month I will have added another 10% to my regular income
I add
Each time I read and contemplate this list, these words, my feelings grow in strength, grow in belief and fact, help me achieve easily and fully.
I sign and date this contract with myself.
Each month review, and re-write this contract, adding new start-overs, as you get nearer and nearer and nearer to live in your picture.
Each morning, each evening, you find somewhere to sit and read and re-picture, re-feel, to build on and grow your belief, you create a naturalness, a regularity of doing this, create a habit, enjoyable, fun, natural, and with anticipation.
This works for me. You may want to use this as a starting point, and adapt, change, for the process to see best comfortable for you.
Remember, it's about creating a habit as much as anything else. Promise yourself the best future and flow with it.
How to Design Yourself A Daily Affirmation ... part one
What are Affirmations?
Affirmations are statements that are said in the present tense, such as "I am successful in my work". This is an example of a simple affirmation. Another one could be "I am getting wealthier every day."
Affirmations can be spiritual, material or whatever you want them to be. There are no rules about what can or cannot be an affirmation. If something is important to you, it can be an affirmation.
An affirmation represents a goal you want to achieve and a change you wish to make. They can reflect your inner self. That is why they can be about anything you like, such as relationships, work, health, spirituality or finance. Or something else entirely.
How to Create an Affirmation for Yourself
First of all, you need to ask yourself what you want from life. Sometimes it is hard to know exactly what is the best thing to hope for. If you are not sure what you want, make a list of things you do not want. Then use the opposites of these things for affirmations.
Your affirmations should be positively phrased. If your list of things you do not want includes "I don't want to be so hot-headed", your affirmation could be "I am calm and collected."
You need to create your affirmation in the present tense, as though it was happening right now, which tells yourself that this is how things are for you now, not at some time in the future. If you keep repeating your affirmation in the future tense, it will always be some time away.
You can have as many affirmations as you want, covering all aspects of your life in which you want to see a change. Put your list somewhere visible where you will see it daily, such as the bathroom mirror so you will see it whenever you clean your teeth.
Repeat those affirmations three times a day or more. When you first start, you will be reading them from the page. Eventually you will have memorized them and you can recite them through the day. Repetition is vital to keep the process working.

How Do Affirmations Work?
Affirmations are based on the reasoning that we create our own conditions and experienced through our feelings and thoughts. These feeling and thought patterns are all down to past programming.
Let's look at an example. Miss X seems to let her money run through her fingers like sand. Whenever she gets some money, she fritters it away on unnecessary things and seems to be permanently broke. She cannot afford her bills and is falling behind with the rent. She does some self-analysis and remembers her father was the same. He would spent all his money on drink and would hear "enjoy today and don't worry about tomorrow." This programmed her mind to think that life is short and money should be spent as soon as it came into her hands, rather than be saved for important things. She had internalized her father's philosophy.
In the last part, we discussed the basics of affirmations and how to write them so they are positive and in the present. In this part, you'll learn more about the nature of affirmations and how to use them properly.
Repetition is vital for our programming. Repetition of visual, audio and emotional messages impact our lives in the long term because our subconscious mind internalizes the messages and accepts them as the truth.
Affirmations are a great, handy tool that we can use to reprogram our subconscious minds. Using positive statements in the present tense means you can internalize new messages about money, health, love and whatever else is important to you.
Helpful Tips for Your Affirmations
If you know the nature of affirmations, your own will be better. The messages you create are going to be internalized by your subconscious mind, becoming magnets to attract changes into your life for the better.
Knowing that, reread your list of affirmations. Are you sure the things you have written are really what you want to attract? Have you made big goals or smaller, safer ones? Affirmations are to represent your ideal life so make sure they reflect everything you dream of. Don't be afraid to dream of big things. Write down what you really, really want.
Review your affirmations frequently. Don't keep using the same ones for a long time unless you feel l
