Daily Affirmations for More Achievements, Happiness and Delight!
One of the most successful strategies for a fun-packed & 'successful' (that's relationships, self, financial ... whatever) life I have come across - is the use of daily affirmations.
Daily, weekly, monthly, yearly ... I set goals and affirm them. I give them value and strength. By announcing them in the morning during the day, and at night, I re-enforce my determination and joy at achieiving what it is I plan to achieve.
On this lens, I hope to share some of these affirmation strategies ...
How to Design Yourself A Daily Affirmation ... part one
What are Affirmations?
Affirmations are statements that are said in the present tense, such as "I am successful in my work". This is an example of a simple affirmation. Another one could be "I am getting wealthier every day."
Affirmations can be spiritual, material or whatever you want them to be. There are no rules about what can or cannot be an affirmation. If something is important to you, it can be an affirmation.
An affirmation represents a goal you want to achieve and a change you wish to make. They can reflect your inner self. That is why they can be about anything you like, such as relationships, work, health, spirituality or finance. Or something else entirely.
How to Create an Affirmation for Yourself
First of all, you need to ask yourself what you want from life. Sometimes it is hard to know exactly what is the best thing to hope for. If you are not sure what you want, make a list of things you do not want. Then use the opposites of these things for affirmations.
Your affirmations should be positively phrased. If your list of things you do not want includes "I don't want to be so hot-headed", your affirmation could be "I am calm and collected."
You need to create your affirmation in the present tense, as though it was happening right now, which tells yourself that this is how things are for you now, not at some time in the future. If you keep repeating your affirmation in the future tense, it will always be some time away.
You can have as many affirmations as you want, covering all aspects of your life in which you want to see a change. Put your list somewhere visible where you will see it daily, such as the bathroom mirror so you will see it whenever you clean your teeth.
Repeat those affirmations three times a day or more. When you first start, you will be reading them from the page. Eventually you will have memorized them and you can recite them through the day. Repetition is vital to keep the process working.

How Do Affirmations Work?
Affirmations are based on the reasoning that we create our own conditions and experienced through our feelings and thoughts. These feeling and thought patterns are all down to past programming.
Let's look at an example. Miss X seems to let her money run through her fingers like sand. Whenever she gets some money, she fritters it away on unnecessary things and seems to be permanently broke. She cannot afford her bills and is falling behind with the rent. She does some self-analysis and remembers her father was the same. He would spent all his money on drink and would hear "enjoy today and don't worry about tomorrow." This programmed her mind to think that life is short and money should be spent as soon as it came into her hands, rather than be saved for important things. She had internalized her father's philosophy.
In the last part, we discussed the basics of affirmations and how to write them so they are positive and in the present. In this part, you'll learn more about the nature of affirmations and how to use them properly.
Repetition is vital for our programming. Repetition of visual, audio and emotional messages impact our lives in the long term because our subconscious mind internalizes the messages and accepts them as the truth.
Affirmations are a great, handy tool that we can use to reprogram our subconscious minds. Using positive statements in the present tense means you can internalize new messages about money, health, love and whatever else is important to you.
Helpful Tips for Your Affirmations
If you know the nature of affirmations, your own will be better. The messages you create are going to be internalized by your subconscious mind, becoming magnets to attract changes into your life for the better.
Knowing that, reread your list of affirmations. Are you sure the things you have written are really what you want to attract? Have you made big goals or smaller, safer ones? Affirmations are to represent your ideal life so make sure they reflect everything you dream of. Don't be afraid to dream of big things. Write down what you really, really want.
Review your affirmations frequently. Don't keep using the same ones for a long time unless you feel l
