We need to reduce our calories as if we don't we are getting too many calories and our bodies will to keep the surplus as fat.

Drink lots of water. Our bodies are about 70% water, so we have to drink a lot more than we do.. Its best if you drink water and not juice or tea etc. Our bodies get plain water faster than water with other elements in it. Quite often we don't drink enough then we think we are hungry when in fact we need to drink water as we are dehydrated.

To improve your chances of post menopausal weight loss
you need to teach your body to only have food when it truly needs it . Keep your portion sizes down to a smaller amount then you did before as this way you can enjoy some of your favorite foods without added weight.

Its always a good idea to eat a balanced diet at whatever age we are. It is even more important during menopause and post menopausal weight loss. This should include healthy fruits and vegetables. Reduce intake of cakes, sweets and sugars. You should s also keep our saturated fat intake down. You will need fiber to keep your body healthy.

Keep your post menopausal weight loss to a reasonable amount. If you are too thin it can increase your chances of getting osteoporosis.

When we enter the menopause we need to increase our activity levels. Increased exercise helps with post menopausal weight loss. It is important to get lots of exercise. It helps our bodies and makes them stronger. It also helps us reduce weight gain and helps enhance our moods and makes us feel better.
