Where should I post my resume?

I run a free job board. Free for employers. Free for job hunters. I designed and programmed this job board from the ground up. My goal was to simply help people find a job without charging for it. I also didn't want to charge employers to post jobs or search through resumes because I have worked for small employers. A lot of them simply don't have the budget to post jobs on the mega job boards.

Since I've had a few years of experience in the job board industry I thought that I would share some of the places that I think are good places to post your resume for the best results.

I'd also like to make this a reference for everyone and hope that people like you will make some suggestions or at the very least vote.

The best place to post your resume.

(Of course I'm a bit biased)

I happen to think that the best place to post your resume is of course on TeleportJobs. Yes. You could do this. Yes. You might get a job.

And No.

This is not the intent of this lens. The intent is to offer up other places that might also be of benefit in your job search.

Hear Ye! Hear Ye! Calling all JobBoarders!

I propose a challenge!

This is a shout out to all job site owners. Let the people vote! Do you own a job website? If so why not see how it truly ranks with the job search community and submit your job site below?

What do you say? Are you up for a challenge? Think you've got what it takes?

Once you add your job board to one of the categories below; just place this vote symbol:

vote for your favorite job site

somewhere on your site and link it to this page (http://www.squidoo.com/post_resume) to let your visitors decide.

Just copy and paste the following HTML into your web page:

<a href="http://www.squidoo.com/post_resume"><img border="0" src="http://www.teleportjobs.com/images/vote.png" alt="Vote for the best job site" title="Vote for your favorite job site"></a>

And remember. Let's be honest and only vote for your own website once. No stacking the deck please.

Lets vote?

Let's make this lens a useful resource for all and vote below for your favorite general job board, social job board, and job board aggregator.

What? Your favorite isn't there?

Just add it to the list!

What do you think the future holds for job sites?

My prediction:

danskapia, at 1pm on September 18, 2008 predicts:

I predict that pay for post job boards will slowly have to reduce prices and more free job boards will be used.
