Potty training CAN be a hassle, but it doesn't have to be!
I'll be the first to tell you that potty training sucks. It's even worse than changing your little ones diapers! With changing diapers, you generally don't have to worry about very much...aside from getting peed on, or the occasional number 2 cannon.
Everything changes once they figure out how to use their hands. Worse yet, children have a natural curiosity (to any parents horror) as to what's attached to their bodies and to what comes out of their bodies. As if that wasn't bad enough, this always seems to be perfectly timed to when it's time to teach them how to use the potty pot!
So how does any of this get better? If you are a father or parent like me, who doesn't always do the shopping, getting the necessary supplies can be a nightmare. Luckily for us, I have assembled the perfect e-store that Amazon.com has to offer.

Horror Stories
Oh yes, every parent has one of these to share and those of you who are reading this, and who are also parents, will be nodding your head and thinking of your own.My oldest son is just now beginning to potty train. We are using a potty training watch, which chimes music every hour to remind you that you need to try and get them there for the deed. (Let me must say that these are awesome and if you are interested, we found ours at Target.)
Okay, so after a few hours of this, Drake (my oldest boy) knows that it's time to get the pants down and get on the potty pot. The problem with this? He's on the opposite side of the house, or, about forty feet from the toilet.
So... I have my laptop open and am checking an email, when I hear the music sounding off. I tell him to come here, so we can get to the potty, and he does...after first pulling his britches down. Nature takes it course and to his (and my) surprise, he's suddenly screaming; "Oh no!" and running from one end of the house to where the bathroom is...naked and doing his business all along the way.
What's the lesson here? Potty watches aren't meant to babysit the time. You have to actively keep track of it, (and your toddler!) as well!
