Potty Training Puppies

Repeat these procedures in an effort to get them to smarten up and catch on. This gets exhausting, but it has its positive results.

When the dog demonstrates that he can consistently go to the bathroom on the newspapers around the house, give them a treat of appreciation and to show what a good dog they are. Relocate the papers to different areas of the home to make sure the dog finds them and continues using them. So, at least there is no more running around the house and cleaning up the mess. The next feat is to finally get your dog to stop going in the house and head outside instead. This will be easy because dogs love the great outdoors. Position all of the paper on the floor near the doors leading to your backyard.

Then open the door and let him run out and play.
