Poufs, Puffs and Lots of Soft Stuff

Poufs and Puffs are Pretty Varied
Setting up this page I've opted to be fair and give equal time to each. For example, first will come poufs. Next, I'll write about puffs and follow that with a section on soft stuff. Alternating one right after the other....poufs, puffs, and lots of soft stuff.
Now, about that gorgeous flora pouf in the pic? Well, it's available from Modern Dose for $622.50 (but shipping is free!) I'm seriously wishing somebody would step up and buy me this. Sigh..... I would try to replicate this pouf at home, but I'm afraid the laser-cut wool flowers would prove difficult. oooops!

The Puff Daddy of Them All
via Pickles
This DIY pouf (or puff as the designer calls it) is knitted. Best of all, the designer has blessed us with the tutorial! Yeah!P.S. This Puff Daddy (the knitted pouf in the pic) is not associated in any which way or form with the live person Puff Daddy quoted below. (I don't even know if that Puff Daddy knits.) Hmmmmm

StickyNote
Note to self:
Mention the word Poufs is pronounced poofs (like the ghost vanishes....phoof), but the word is spelled poUfs.
Scratch the idea of staging a photo of a pouf in a bowl of chocolate pudding with the caption "The Pouf is in the Pudding!" (That's too stupid, yeah, even for me...)

Polling for Poufs
Soft Stuff = Flower Pouf Pillow
via Christina's Adventures
I love the grey and white fabric, but it's the gigantic pouf which makes this pillow. Since it's a pouf AND it appears to be very soft, I'm going to split the difference and place this in both the Poufs and the Soft Stuff categories. Go to Christina's post with even more pics and a bit about her inspiration.(Photo credit Christina's Adventures)

Lots more to come, but If you're liking this lens, please consider giving the thumbs up.
You could do it now if you like or wait till the bottom of the page. I'm just afraid you might forget. oooops!

My Favorite Puff Ever!!!
Puff the Magic Dragon
I was a young kid when I first heard this song. On a personal note, I have to honestly say that every time I'd hear this song, I'd get so sad for poor Puff and so mad at stupid Jackie Paper for growing up and leaving him.......I just wanted to find that kid and kick his behind. (Sad, but true.) Grrrrrrrr
Ooooops! Do you think I was too rough on little Jackie Paper?
How does this song make you feel?

- I agree with you, poor old Puff. As for all the poufs on this page, (we call them pouffes here in the UK, closer to the original French you see), such a delightful selection! I'd like to make a paper one, and a snuggly one, and.... well I need more hours in my day!

- We used to have Poufs in the house when I was growing up, but they more or less went out of fashion. I guess they are coming back into style.

Poufs with Stripes
via Dollar Store Crafts
Poufs can fit nearly any budget. Throw rugs from the Dollar Store met their match when Heather got hold of them. I pride myself on making inexpensive, yet functional "crafts", but this lady has totally got me beat with her clever Pouf. Read how she did it.(Photo credit Heather at Dollar Store Crafts)
Paper Puffs!
Paper lanterns, tissure paper, glue stick, scissors
I've shared the story of these paper puffs on one of my other lens and I just never get tired of spreading the word on these little darlings! They are magical whether you choose to illuminate them or not. Learn how the clever lady at the blog "not martha" (Martha is NOT her name, see?) made these pretty paper puffs. :)(Photo credit not martha blog)

Meadow Flower Pouf
Viva Terra offers this unique crochet Meadow Flower Pouf to sit on or use as a footrest. I wonder how long that took to crochet? By the way, they have a matching rug too, if you care to tiptoe through the tulips. Pretty magical.....(Photo credit Viva Terra)
