PoundPlus Chocolate is Better Than Hershey's

PoundPlus chocolate is made outside the town of Antwerp, Belgium exclusively for Trader Joe's. It comes in three different flavors: Milk Chocolate, Dark Chocolate and Bittersweet. I believe pound for pound it is the best chocolate for the taste and price. A bar of chocolate is 500 grams or 1.6 ounces more than a pound. The price varies from $3.99 to $4.99 depending if the chocolate is purchased with almonds. The milk chocolate is so smooth and what a yummy flavor! I do believe it is better than Hershey's Milk Chocolate.

Ingredients include: Sugar, almonds, cocoa butter, cocoa mass, whole milk powder, soy lecithin, natural vanilla flavor, cocoa solids 33% minimum. They do state their chocolate is made on equipment shared with wheat, eggs, peanuts and tree nuts.

calories per gram: fat 9; carbs 4; protein 4
