Poverty: Prime Mover?

As I've said in Causes of Poverty in Developing Countries, poverty causes poverty, which means poverty is itself a prime mover. It has acquired its own personality and is now leading humanity to destruction. This is why I've decided to publish a SquidWho lens about it. I hope Squidoo HQ won't mind, as this is a lens about a great cause, a further reason why I'm publishing another lens on poverty is that SEO for a great cause (people do not search for a great cause unless they are already committed to it, so selling a great cause isn't the same thing as selling Jessica Biel cupcakes ) is very complicated if not impossible, and the only way to attract traffic is to create a micro niche and build as many backlinks as possible.

Three Reasons to Denounce Poverty

Three good reasons to denounce poverty:

1. Poverty causes more sufferings than any other evil on earth, so much so that sometimes I wonder whether accumulation of wealth is a crime against humanity. I've published some statistics in Bill Gates' $600 Billion Challenge, Causes of Poverty in Developing Countries and Are the Rich Killing the Poor?

2. Poverty is self-generating: poverty causes poverty because most poor people are so entangled in it that they spend their whole life struggling against it instead of living.

3. Poverty is a main reason for instability in the world. There cannot be durable world peace without eradicating poverty first. Many people are speaking about the world being destroyed by asteroids or other catastrophes which, though they do pose a danger, are less certain to occur than the explosion of the time bomb called Poverty. Poverty will certainly destroy humanity before the end of this Century if it is not deactivated.

Many super-rich people have turned into philantropists (see , not only to save their souls but also because they've realized what I'm saying above.)

You don't have to be super-rich to help save humanity from destruction. A small action from every soul on earth will add up and do the job. Do you know that if you fast just once a week, if you miss just one meal, you could save a life? And there are so many little things you could do.
