Have you tried Power Bites yet?

What is your favorite add-in?

  • what can i use instead of flax seed?
  • The flax is just for added nutrition so you can actually omit it all together if you want. You could also substitute Chia seeds or protein powder.

    Thanks for commenting!
  • These are great!!!!! I will be experimenting and let you know what my favorite is. Good lens. Thanks.
  • hmm think i will try these. i've been wanting to make my own energy snacks at home for a while. is there an alternative to the peanut or nut butter tho? could i make them with just the honey instead?
  • The nut butter helps it all stay together and gives it some substance but, while I haven't tried it, I would imagine that it would still work with just honey. You may also try adding some wheat or rice flour to bulk it up a bit. Let us know if you try it! Thanks for the question!
  • I haven't yet but am taking down notes here.
  • The basic recipe is also great for people who are preparing for a figure competition - I have made these many times and they are also great dipped in dark chocolate when I am not dieting.
  • Ooh, dark chocolate sounds wonderful! Thanks for the scrumptious tip!
  • These sound good, as well as easy! Thanks
  • great start to your blog, love the topic too.
  • Ooh, I need to try these Power Bites. I have coconut oil and dried cranberries that I could add in. Yum!
