The sensation is odd, but certainly not painful and I began to look forward to the feeling of my muscles contracting. Even after only 2 weeks (of 5 days per week usage), I had begun to notice a difference in my shape. At the end of 4 weeks, I can say with complete confidence that my waist has become more defined, my stomach muscles are strong and feel lean. I have been exercising a lot recently too; which has probably enhanced the results. In short; if you want to tone up without uncomfortable sit-ups, don't hesitate. Powerball Neon Pro - Blue (UK) I long hesitated before buying it because I didn't fully understand what was about it that everybody find fun.I didn't get addicted to it as many said in the reviews but I like it very much. What amazes me each time is how fast it can tourn inside making that whooovveee sound and how hard it can push your hand when it is at high speeds!
I play with it from time to time. It really makes you do some exercise with your arms and hands, even in the first time you use it. Definitively worth the price. If you like gadgets this is a must.

- This really is a useful buy. Ideal for people who need gentle exercise but can't actually get on their bikes. It takes up very little space, you can carry it between rooms or sling it in the understairs cupboard, and you can use it while emailing. Terrible assembly instructions though: things you should know - I think the short base goes under the read-out panel, the pedals screw on in different directions (they are labelled but very small), and you need to lever off the read-out panel when you want to change the batteries.

- This bike is fantastic for its money. I've been to spinning classes and wanted to spin more as classes were often full. It feels like a high quality bike, I was shocked at how well it compares to the gym bikes. Really heavy duty and the adjustments are brill, all ways you would need! Only negative is the uncomfy seat which I bought a cover for, although I know they aren't meant to be luxurious :) Well worth the purchase if you are considering it.

Put together in 45 mins snd is quite heavy.The pedals were a liitle tricky because if not screwed in properly will keep working themselves loose. The mat is highly reccomended as the cycle is heavy and will mark the floor if moved.

- Most of the reviews here talk about the blisters that the dumbbell handles give you when you use them. That is because most of these reviews are written within a week or so of receiving the dumbbells. I have had the dumbbells for almost two years now, and I use them regularly. At first I do remember that the blisters were a problem, but after a week or two, your hands harden and you feel no pain in using them. I never feel the slightest bit of pain when using them amy more, even when there are weights on the dumbbells. If you are concerned, lifting gloves are cheap and they protect your hands.
And anyway, if you're working out - "No pain no gain!" - Reebok Handweight 5kg

- I have actually never written a review but was compelled to do so after getting my Garmin FR 405. I received the Garmin FR 405 a few days ago after taking about 2 months to decide whether to get it! I have read over 100 reviews, some of which nearly scared me off getting it. I'm glad I did. I'm an amateur runner looking to improve and get a bit more serious about my timing and pace etc. The 405 gets the job done quite frankly. Yes, it's true, it is slightly counterintuitive in the way the bezel etc has been designed, but once you get used to it, it's absolutely fine. Like many people have said, if you can operate an i-Pod, this is manageable. I have read complaints about the bezel etc and again, it shouldn't have to be something you need to use whilst running, so there should be relatively few concerns with sweat etc. In my view, the ideal way to use this watch is to take the time to set it up in the way you want it to work (virtual partner, auto lap, auto pause etc)

- my tummy feels more toned after about 3 weeks of using twice a day. I've had one previously that you had to use a gel with whioch was messy and I gave up. This is much better. doesn't get rid of the fat so need to diet too but it helps with toning the tummy.

- I had been suffering from RSI as a result of working with computers for weeks & weeks - wearing supports all day and splints at night, going to the doctor (useless!) trying different types of painkillers, anti-inflammitories and gels - all to no effect.
Then my boss said his friend had recovered from his RSI with a powerball. I was quite confused at how it worked but it looked cool and was pretty cheap so I thought I had nothing to lose. The lady on the phone at powerball said I should expect to see a difference within 1-2 weeks, but after just TWO DAYS of using the powerball for a few minutes, the pain in my wrists has completely dissapeared!

I can confirm that this powerball does help with training. This screamer version is based on the original powerball but with an added twist and it is just as fun as the various other models. I have been using various powerball for over two years now and I love it as much now as when I first got it. The manufacturer's description really doesn't do this product justice, although their website does. If you use this powerball at low speeds it is great for RSI and other wrist/arm injuries. At high speeds it gives an amazing workout and really builds up all the arm and shoulder muscles. The build quality is incredible (do not be tempted by inferior wannabes) and the lifetime guarantee is unbeatable. I've had to replace a small part already (due to my intensive usage!) and they sent out the part quickly, free of charge and with full fitting instructions, can't say fairer than that! The screamer is a fun variation to the original powerball and a great addition to the powerball collection. It is truly addictive and put it on a table in a room full of friends and you will all soon be fighting to out do one another.
