Make sure you get a very good powerleveling guide. Many of these guides and merely quest guides which give you information that you can find on wowhead or thotbott. You want one that will lead you through the most efficient way from level 1-80. it should tell you what quests to take and which ones to leave, where to grind, where the best places to find quest items are, etc.
