PAY ATTENTION!!! - Has anyone ever told you that? Maybe a parent or a teacher? I've sure been told to pay attention on many occasions. It's as though if you're told to do it in a loud enough voice or enough times, you can. Well, it's not always that easy. What is easy is getting distracted. Is there a way to learn to concentrate? Is there some magic we can perform and ZAP we're Tibetan Masters? Well in this lens I hope to answer that question for you.
The Laser-sharp Focus session uses the latest in subliminal messaging technology to deliver thousands of positive, motivational messages directly to your subconscious - helping you focus and get things done quickly and effortlessly!
Meet Ted Hansen, a mild mannered man working at a Fortune 500 company in middle management. Ted's always been a great worker, but there's a problem. Recently Ted has had trouble concentrating on job assignments - he's tried everything from taking energy pills, to taking naps to even drinking more coffee. And yet, Ted just can't seem to stay focused on his work. He even feels a little guilty, thinking he's become lazy.
Your ability to concentrate helps you keep your life in order, keeping track of important things and ignoring insignificant details. Everything you've ever learned is stored away in your subconscious, imprinted like images on film or absorbed like a sponge.
You need to concentrate. You need to focus. You can detract from the task in hand. But you feel so tired... so frustrated... you can feel each individual obstacle stopping you from achieving your goals. WHY? Why now?In the late 1960's and early 70's there was a phrase that was made popular which went, "Tell it like it is." It came about as a result of the falsehoods which society was being inundated with from all sides of life. People, and especially the young people of that time, were tired of being lied to. In this book, published over four decades ago, Mouni Sadhu "tells it like it is" in regard to the art and discipline of meditation. He pulls no punches and does not try to sugar coat the cold, hard facts about the development of the ability to concentrate and its necessity in being able to meditate properly.

ConZentrate is the most complete resource of information I've seen yet about the important topic of concentration. Whether you want to know how to keep your mind on what you're doing in a busy office with many distractions, or how to stay focused when you're playing a sport, and how to evaluate what's valuable in your life and what deserves your attention, this is the book to turn to. Thanks, Sam - another book I'll keep handy and refer to colleagues and friends!

Having studied concentration from several other resources, I find this to be my favorite. Most other methods of concentration require a lot of willpower to sharpen mental focus. While this might work, in my experience, it doesn't work very well. As soon as you stop training, you're mind will quickly resort back to its old wandering ways.
