Attention to detail makes this seem more like the real thing with accurate styling, added interior details, and chrome badges just like the actual car. The front fascia of the Barbie Ford Mustang GT will include a molded grill with waffle detailing and headlight buckets, chrome faceted head light reflectors and clear head light lenses.
The dashboard includes a sound box with pre - recorded music and engine sounds that react when buttons are activated. LEDs will flash and illuminate to simulate a working speedometer and tachometer when the key is pressed.
The sound box has a simulated equalizer with LEDs that flash when the song button is pressed, when the horn button is pressed all LEDs light and blink. Other details include a battery charge indicator, adjustable seats and a single cup holder.

My older daughter received this as a gift for her second birthday (Jan 2007) and by the summer had mastered steering and the gears. My younger daughter, one year old, also loves to go along for the ride. She sits in the passenger seat and gets to control the radio! I love that it's an adjustable two-seater with seatbelts. They both love riding in it and I feel it's safe and durable. We have big rocks/boulders around the edge of our yard to keep cars off our property and when she was first learning to drive would occassionally crash into them. At most the car got a scratch or two and she was fine. We actually plan on purchasing another one for the baby next summer so they can ride together! I would highly recommend this toy for hours of fun!
We are so pleased with this little car!!! Some of the other reviews said that it didn't do well on hills or grass but we have had no issues with that. We bought the car for my 4 year old birthday and he and his 17 mo little brother just LOVE it!!! Their hot little car is the talk of the neighborhood. We are impressed with the kick it has and you acutally have to jog to keep up with it in the higher speed. It's just a really nice little car. Well, worth the money!!!
