Super Short PPC Management Plan
Here is an outline of a solid pay per click management plan
- Look for keywords from several different sources.
- Divide your keywords up into logical groupings which will form your ad groups.
- Create at least one landing page specifically for your paid search traffic. Ideally, set up one or more landing pages for each ad group, if you have the time and resources.
- Install conversion tracking scripts on your landing pages.
- Set up a minimum of two ads for each ad group to test different ad copy.
- Begin running ads and generating performance data.
- Make changes to your account based on your performance data. For example, if one ad clearly performs better than another, turn off the under-performing ad.
- Continue testing new ads, keywords, and landing page copy to continually squeeze out better performance from your campaigns.
