How to get Page Rank 10 on Google

On this lens I will discuss how you can get PR10 ranking on Google.

Getting high Page Rank on Google

As most webmasters experienced in Search Engine Optimization (SEO) already know that Google primarily determines a sites ranking by evaluating the incoming links to the given site.

It basically comes down to this: The more sites are linking to you, the higher ranking you will get on Google.

Page Ranker (PR) is Googles measure of the importance of a web page. The value of Page Ranker is between 0 and 10 (0 being not ranked or not important and 10 being the highest possible ranking).

Getting PR 10 on Google

Getting Pagerank 10 on Google requires either lots of incoming links or less links from sites that are highly ranked on Google already.

There is an excellent image on Wikipedia illustrating this with colored balls. Search using pagerank on wikipedia to see that image and to get a more scientific explanation. The larger balls are ranked higher because either lots of smaller ones or less larger ones are linking to it.

Theoretically, having plenty of high PR sites linking to your site would lead to as high as a PR10 ranking.

The Challange and the Solution

Getting plenty of high PR in-links is not easy. Most webmasters have to pay for them one way or another. There are text link ads you could purchase which usually costs you X amount of dollars per month. You can also get access to highly ranked blogs and forums and submit articles or start threads including links to your website from those highly ranked pages.

Another challenge (since a series of ranking algorithm changes at Google) is that Google only counts relevant links. This means that the page you are linking from must be relevant to the page you are linking to. Additionally the anchor text (the text between the anchor tags) must be relevant to the content as well.

I recently visited a web site that is trying to achieve PR10 ranking by link exchange and relevant content at the same time.
