PR 925 Is a New Metal Alloy Forged from Silver and Platinum

Sterling Silver is 92.5% fine silver. The other 7.5% can be made of any metal. Copper is a common choice, which is fine. The problem is sterling silver's Nickel plating. Nickel is commonly believed to be responsible for "jewelry allergies." Nickel is dangerous enough to be banned in France and Japan.

PR 925 is a fantastic new alloy made from 92.5% fine silver forged with 7.5% Palladium-Rhodium. Both Palladium and Rhodium are members of the Platinum metal family. PR 925 Silver Jewelry does not contain Copper or Nickel.

PR 925 is more scratch- and tarnish-resitant than Sterling Silver.
