Because its steep walls and the cool breezes & moisture it receives from the mighty Pacific, Fern Canyon's environment supports a fern garden like no other.

Clinging from the sheer sides of the canyon many species of fern call this place home. There is no wonder why moment either - once inside it is instant enchantment!

Ferns aren't the only thing that calls this place home. Slow down and take a look at the water and find what else lives here.

Frogs, salamanders, newts and fish all share the cool stream that meanders through the canyon.

Take the time to exam these critters up close, but be careful and mind your step! Don't squash any of our woodland friends.
