Again, Kate, you are on target! I am definitely "serious by nature"...obsessed with perfection, detail, etc....and now, at over 65 by several years, have finally determined I must "loosen up." I have most recently added a "Maxine cartoon" to the "must read" folder of updates, etc. for staff and volunteers at our information desks...and added art work, color, and even a "funny approach" to "new things-new happenings"...I need to laugh more!...and it certainly sets a better tone for all of us...and after all, why NOT?

This is great! I was reminded of the cute young doctor who sang to me as he stitched my finger (caught in a car door - almost lost the end of finger). When he put in the needle to deaden it, I hollered "God Bless America" and so he started singing. Such a delightful young fellow. he continued to sing through the entire process! I will never forget it!
now to get that prayrain journal going! Thanks!
