In my childhood memories I have precious memories of grandma and grandpa making strawberry ice cream and eating it joyfully with us grandkids.

But don't stop there; once a year send a new photo of yourself that will fit in that special frame. If you fish, send them a picture of you fishing. Or if you do bake them some cookies, have someone take a picture of you baking.

There are many ways to keep grandparent grandchildren relationships alive. Get creative! Instead of sitting on the sidelines wishing you had a close relationship with your grandchildren, get busy, love life, and have fun with those grandbabies you always dreamed of having - even if it is from miles away.
