Prenatal Training
Can we communicate with unborn baby before birth (in mother's womb)? Does foetus hear us before birth? Can foetus smell? Will the unborn baby have (prenatal) memory? Can foetus understand us?
I shall share with you my experience of prental training with my children before they were born and my training experience of pregnant mothers. We are going to find out more about pregnancy training and how mother and family members can communicate with unborn baby. It is my passion to share the secret with all of you who care about unborn babies.

My Interest And Experience In Prenatal Training
Personal Sharing
My mother related to me that while I was still in her womb, my father used to talk to me as if I were already a person of my own right. He would update me on things happening to him. For example, he greeted him everyday when he reached him. He said to me ,"Daddy is back home. How are you? I love you." Those were important moments for me. I believe it helped to build the strong bond I have with my parents today.
I remember my mother telling me that she wanted to give birth to me in the evening when my father was around. I recall her saying that she needed my father to support her. True enough, intuitively, I waited for my father to return home and it was only then that my mother started to have labour pains. This was my prenatal experience.
My experience with my children also proved that a connection with your child can begin even before the child is born. When I was expecting my first child, I sang a particular nursery rhyme and talked to my son as often as I could. Interestingly, after he was born he remembered the nursery rhyme that I had sung for him while he was in my womb. I could sense and see that he always felt comfortable, secure and a feeling of warmth whenever he listened to it. It was the major link that helped me to make a deep connection with him. The familiarity made the bonding easier to establish.
While I was pregnant with my second child, I faced many challenges as I was experiencing the possibility of losing the child. The doctor had told me that I had a low placenta and I even suffered gestational diabetes. This was when I began to attend the prenatal training course which used the Right Brain Training approach conducted by my teacher, May Ng. She not only guided me with her knowledge and skills, but constantly supported and reassured me emotionally. The training I received helped me in facing, and in the end, overcoming all the challenges from a positive approach. I became calm to face whatever challenges during my pregnancy. My unborn baby became more relaxed.

Prenatal Memory of Unborn Baby
I communicated with my first son when he was only a 7 months old foetus. I talked to him, read books and sang to him daily. When he was 5 years ago, he was able to recall the experience in the womb, sharing with me that it was dark inside and what it was like playing with the water inside my womb. I asked him, "What did you hear in my womb when you were an unborn baby?" He said that he could hear to sounds, but they were not clear. He heard gulp sound. (It is because I had wind during my pregnancy). He heard grandma sang the song "Little Bo Bo". He loves this song. He could sing this song.
I practised prenatal training with my second son when he was a few months old foetus. I attended the prenatal lesson with him then. He kicked to tell me to take note when teacher talked about unconditional love and acceptance to unborn baby. I felt touched by his response to the prenatal training lesson. When he was 2 years old, he told me surprisingly," I know your teacher (May Ng) for a long time when I was in your womb." He had this memorable experience of his prenatal memory. He drew a picture of my womb to my teacher. He described it as cosy and comfortable as a pillow.
Based on my first and second sons' sharing and my reading, I started to believe strongly in prenatal communication. I was fortunate that my first pregnancy was smooth. However, this was not the case with my second pregnancy which had complications. What I would like to do is to share with the experience and the learning that came out from this trying pregnancy in the hope of helping anyone who may go through a similar experience. At the same time, I believe it will shed more light on the subject and give women a sense of control over their pregnancy.
The prenatal memory is an important and first memory of a child. I encouraged parents to talk with your children about their prenatal memory when they are ready. They could tell you their memory when they were in the wombs. It is a wonderful moment to share with your children about prenatal memory.
If you've picked some pointers about prenatal memory, I hope you can put your learning into practise and find out more about the topics from your children.
