Calling out Prepaid Phone Cards

This is about the calling cards people are using to make calls thinking it is a good deal when in reality it is a total rip-off. People are using these cards to call over the globe but is it the best and most economical way?

Prepaid Phone Cards

Prepaid Phone Cards a deal or no deal

Caught with both hands in the cookie jar!

Calling card companies got caught not with one hand in the cookie jar but both. I saw this and just had to comment. This is really outrageous that companies will do almost anything for the almighty dollar. This happens to be impacting the immigrant population but things like this happen everyday to all of us but maybe not as blatantly.

Big Business!

You have big business always telling us their offers are the best, going to save us a lot of money, just like the offers from the phone and cable companies and their bundled packages. They are not really in our best interest. I have to ask why would they want to give you or I a good deal? It is hard to believe they are really offering any kind of deal that favors you or me. I would bet the almighty dollar it is for their benefit and not the consumer.

Calling Out Prepaid Phone Cards!

Other states are likely to follow Florida, which settled with 10 companies accused of false advertising and charging hidden fees.

Effect on Immigrants

And according to critics, many of these fees are hidden-leaving customers feeling they get more minutes than they really do. Companies can charge "connection" and "hang-up" fees as high as $2, and some round up calls in three- or four-minute increments. And while some of the fees were disclosed in fine print, the disclosures were in English-even in cases where card companies market heavily in Spanish to reach immigrant customers.

Cheating consumers!

In a crackdown that augurs sweeping change in the $4 billion prepaid phone-card industry, state regulators are forcing card vendors to make amends for practices critics say cheat consumers out of hundreds of millions of dollars a year.

The answer for the immigrant population and those considering a bundled package?

Is there an inexpensive and reasonable way for people to call back to family, friends or business partners in Mexico, Argentina, London, Australia or any other country of the world? Yes there absolutely is. There is a company that has spent millions of dollars on their phone system network that enables you to call any country in the world or from any country in the world as long as you have high-speed internet. The name of that company is IamVoIP and they provide premium residential VoIP home service to customers every day. They also provide small businesses VoIP to businesses and home based businesses as well. People in the US are signing up and sending the units to Mexico and different countries around the world. You ask how does that help? The answer is simple; when they connect these units to their high-speed internet and to their phone they can call a number in the USA as if they were sitting in the home of the person who sent the unit to them. They are making calls to the US as if they were in the US . That alleviates the need for the pre-paid phone calls and the outrageous rates. You could be in London on vacation or business and call home as if you were sitting in your own home instead calling from the hotel or using your cell phone. How cool is that?

No bundled packages here?

Instead of signing up for a bundled package the phone or cable company is offering you can sign up and get Residential VoIP with IamVoIP with no contract. You get all the great features, unlimited local calling and unlimited national long distance for a low price. You are actually getting a business class VoIP product instead of some of the residential VoIP products being offered by other companies. You are not sacrificing quality for price either, this service is absolutely one of the best available. Not only can you use this service as a customer but you can actually participate as well by joining the business opportunity. Just go to IamVoIP and click on opportunity at the top of the page and get signed up today. You can start saving on digital phone service right away. There are too many benefits of this service to list but don't wait, get started right away and kiss those prepaid phone cards and offers from the phone and cable companies goodbye for good.
