Preschool Lessons - My Nightmare
Preparing preschool lessons has got to be one of the greatest nightmares I have ever had and certainly is not something I would want to wish upon any preschool teacher.
I remember when I started my own preschool, I all of a sudden had to get my own preschool lessons and teaching material. Not an easy task that is for certain.
The beauty of working for someone else's preschool usually is that they got all the material ready for you and there is no need for you to break a sweat trying to figure out what your next preschool lesson is going to be. Having said that though, I thank God for the independence of being able to run my own preschool from home.
I am also extremely grateful for people who went through all the trouble of creating preschool lessons that preschool teachers like myself can use. You have no idea how relieved I was to get complete access to a ready to go library of preschool lessons that were put together by a fellow preschool teacher. See here for more details!

Preschool Lessons I Had To Learn
How I learned the hard way as to what not to teach and what to teach!
I don't know if you are anything like me, but I tend to learn things the hard way.As an example, I thought I finally had a grip of this preschool stuff when all of a sudden a couple parents decided that they no longer needed my services. It was not because their kids had outgrown preschool, but rather that my teaching (in their opinion) had become ineffective, or should I say... useless.
It was a bitter pill to swallow, but I learned from it.
It was then that I finally decided to give up trying to reinvent the wheel. I realized that I was not the first and definitely not the last person to run a preschool... and that perhaps I should learn from the masters. Which is what I ended up doing.
I spent a couple hundred dollars on pre-made preschool lessons, took some more training and I can proudly say: My preschool is booming (I even got my lost preschool students back).
