Children as young as babies and toddlers love books. They are fascinated with books. They enjoy turning the pages and looking at the images. This makes teaching them with workbooks naturally easy. And the beauty of a workbook or activity book is that the child owns it. They are allowed to write and draw in it. Heck, they're supposed to!
As a teacher, I found it much easier to get my students involved in the lesson if I used a workbook versus having them work on their own paper. Something about a workbook is just fun for students. My four year old daughter doodles and draws in her workbooks for preschoolers long after we've completed the lessons in them. She likes to trace over and over the pictures and color every nook and cranny.

Since their preschool workbooks are reusable you can teach with them over and over again with all of your children and when your youngest child outgrows the lessons, you can sell it.
What makes the ABC Home Peschool curriculum so great are the following features.
- The preschool workbooks are reusable since you simply wipe them off. They promise that "these preschool workbooks are made to be durable and nearly undestroyable."
- Their pre-k curriculum is not one size fits all. Instead, they divide it up into 3 units: age 2 preschool, age 3 preschool, and age 4 through 6 preschool. I love this idea. a 2 year old should not be expected to learn the same things as a 4 year old and vice versa. I love ABC's different levels of preschool curriculum.
- The offer an array of supplemental materials. They have downloadable curriculum and even offer online courses to show you how to homeschool your preschooler.
