US Presidential Coins
The United States Mint is issuing one dollar coins to be placed in general circulation with the public that honor past U.S. Presidents. There will be four Presidential coins issued each year with each featuring a U.S. President. The obverse or front of the coin will feature the U.S. President being honored and each coin will have a common reverse side with a rendition of the Statue of Liberty. Presidents Johnson, Grant, Hayes, and Garfield being honored in 2011.
