Ranked #205 in Arts & Design, #2,327 overall
These cute pincushion patterns make adorable gifts!
A pretty pincushion makes a great craft project for adults and children.
In fact, pincushion patterns are ideal for a beginner sewing project that can be as quick and easy as you like. Or you can challenge your skills by taking on a more demanding project with plenty of detail.
When you're done, you have a cute gift ready to give to a favorite female relative or friend. Perfect as a stocking stuffer or a Mothers Day gift, or even just to say Thanks!
Pin cushions are also economical, as they can be made from scraps of pretty fabric, from felt (making them a great craft project for the kids), or even from crochet yarn. Read on to find out how to make a pincushion and discover free patterns.
