Preventing Panic Attacks
If you are looking for methods for preventing panic attacks, then I really hope I can help you out. I personally battled with panic attacks for 4 years. That was a time of my life that I never want to live through again. It got to the point where I would schedule my day around the fear of having another panic attack. I remember when I had to meet with my boss to ask him if I could come in one hour earlier or later to work so that I did not get stuck in rush hour traffic (my worst panic attacks came in the car).
But I am happy to say that I have not had a panic attack for 8 months. Where there was once fear, I now feel a sense of calm serenity.
Here are some steps I took towards preventing panic attacks. I really hope this helps you...

Here are some steps I took towards preventing panic attacks. I really hope this helps you...
1. Slow Breathing...
Preventing Panic Attacks
A lot of people seem to think that regulating your breathing does nothing to stop anxiety attacks. And they are right...it does NOT do a thing for stopping panic attacks. But it does EVERYTHING for preventing them.
You need to begin to regulate your breathing at the first sign that you are having a panic attack. Instead, most people spend that time freaking out (I used to do this as well) about what is to come. Rather than do that, work to nip the attack in the bud before it becomes a monster.
So at the first sign of a panic attack, regulate your breathing so that each breath is slow and deep.

2. Meditate...
Preventing Panic Attacks
This made a huge impact on the intensity of my panic attacks. I made it my goal (and still do) to spend 20 minutes in meditation every single day. We all know how big of an effect negative thoughts have on our panic attacks. Meditation will quiet your mind and give you more control over the thoughts you choose. This should be part of your daily ritual.

Stop Preventing Panic Attacks and Cure Them Instead
If you want to know how I truly got over my panic attacks then here it is: I got the Panic Away ProgramI have to admit that I am a little more lucky than most people. I've heard that people have spent hundreds of dollars online trying to cure their panic attacks. I'm just happy that I stumbled across this site before I wasted my money with anything else.
Panic Away is built around the "One Touch Method". To learn more about the method, visit the Panic Away Website and scroll to the 8th paragraph.
I really hope (and truly believe) that Panic Away gives you your life back...just like it did for me.
