1. Mr. and Mrs. Bennet have five daughters. Jane, Elizabeth, Mary, Catherine and Lydia.

2. In the opening chapter of Pride and Prejudice it becomes apparent, "the business of her life was to get her daughters married."

3. In Pride & Prejudice Lady Lucas, Sir William Lucas and their daughters are neighbours of the Bennets.

4. In Pride & Prejudice, Mr. Darcy's character was first introduced at a ball where he danced with two ladies in his party and refused to be introduced to anyone else. He was deemed too proud. He slighted Elizabeth by calling her looks "tolerable, but not handsome enough to tempt me." within her earshot. She thought he had bad manners for someone so well bread.

5. Lady Catherine de Bourgh is Mr. Collins patroness as well as his most dear neighbour.

7. "Lady Catherine de Bourgh and Lady Anne Darcy were sisters." Therefore she is Mr. Darcy's aunt.

8. Because Mr. Bennet had no sons his estate goes to his nearest male relative. In this case it is his cousin Mr. Collins.

9. Mr. Wickham developed a scheme to elope with Mr. Darcy's sister Georgiana in hopes of claiming her fortune. It backfired. Lizzy learned about this in a letter from Mr. Darcy.

10. Mr. Wickham ran away to London with Elizabeth´´s youngest sister, Lydia.
